Lindsay Houston, MPH
Lindsay Houston has over three years of experience in substance use disorder policy, program design, and implementation. Recent projects include working with Denver University’s Butler Institute for Families to develop and administer a social network analysis of the opioid treatment network in Larimer and Weld Counties to 25 organizations, including opioid treatment programs, office-based opioid treatment, and jails. Lindsay also helped to develop policy and protocol for federally qualified health centers to initiate medication-assisted treatment in their practices for clients with opioid use disorder. Lindsay is currently working with St. Mary’s Hospital, one of the recipients of the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program grants from Health Resources and Services Administration, to coordinate workforce development, provider education, and treatment across rural counties in Western Colorado.
