Shelley Cooper is a certified project management professional (PMP) and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with over 20 years of health care leadership success in population health, ambulatory care, readmission reduction programs, Medicare Advantage, and business process redesign. Shelley has extensive expertise leading quality improvement projects that impact preventive care, disease management, depression screening, and at-risk patients requiring comprehensive care coordination services.
She is known for helping teams formulate and implement strategic plans, effectively working across multi-functional organizations, leveraging data to influence key decision makers, and helping teams significantly improve quality of care and the patient experience without increasing costs.
Shelley received her BA in Soviet and East European Area Studies from Tufts University in Medford, MA, and her MBA, International Finance, from the University of Denver. She is passionate about designing and implementing programs that enable the organization to improve the lives of their patients.
